Topic:- People Referred To As Men Of God In The Bible
Text:- Deuteronomy 33:1
A. Known Men of God:
1. Moses was the 1st person to be called Man of God in the Bible. See Deuteronomy 33:1; Joshua 14:6; 1 Chronicles 23:14; 2 Chronicles 30:16; Ezra 3:2.
2. Prophet Samuel too was also called Man of God. See 1 Samuel 9:6-8.
3. Shemaiah, who was not so popular in the Bible, him too was called Man of God. See 1 Kings 12:22; 2 Chronicles 11:12..
4. Prophet Elijah was the only Man of God in the Bible, and Man of Fire. See 1 Kings 17:18, 24; 2 King 1:9-13.
5. Prophet Elisha was also called Man of God. See 2 Kings 4:1-44.
6. King David too was called Man of God. See 2 Chronicles 8:14.
7. Igdaliah too was called Man of God. See Jeremiah 35:4.
8. Timothy was the only man in the New Testament called Man of God. See 1 Timothy 6:11.
B. There Were Some People In The Bible That Were Called Men of God But Their Names Were Not Mentioned:
1. Unknown Man of God. See 1 Samuel 2:27.
2. Unknown Man of God. See 1 Kings 13:1, 26; 2 Kings 23:16-17.
3. Unknown Man of God.See 1 Kings 20-28.
4. Unknown Man of God. See 2 Chronicles 25:7-9.
C. There Was Also Unknown Man Of God But Referred As An Angel:
1. An Angel-Man of God. See Judges 13:6, 8.
Prayer Points:-
1. Oh Lord God, make me Your real man of God, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I command all power of evil that is making me less Your man of God, catch fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. All evil in my life and heart that is hindering me to become Your real man of God, die by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. I have determine to be the man of God that He has purpose for my life henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. Oh Lord God, let me resemble You in act and behaviour from henceforth by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
