Meet Pastor Timothy Babajide Ogundele-Jesu

Pastor Timothy Babajide Ogundele-Jesu is the last of four children of the popular and renowned Evangelist of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Late Pastor Ezekiel Olorunfemi Ogundele.

He was born on 18th April, 1964 and brought up in the Vision by his father, who took him places propagating the Gospel with the flare for the Word of God.

He continued his journey to stardom when he gained admission into The United Missionary Theological College,(UMTC), Ilorin on August 1982 over 1984.


His undying love and devotion to Christ and his commitment to this course was his ever driving force in his ministry.

Which made him and four other vissionaires found THE WILL MINISTRY in 1984, where God used him to preach the gospel and convert many souls for Christ.

Looking back at his father’s legacy, he decided to remain in the Vision where his father served for so many years.

He commenced this in the year 1986 when he was admitted to The Apostolic Church Theological Seminary Ilesha that same year.

After spending 2 years of advanced grilled study in this field, he graduated to the post of Worker which is the first serving position in The Apostolic Church Nigeria that year, [now known as Assistant Pastor in this present day].

Starting as a Worker, he was posted to The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Ifako-Gbadada, Lagos Area, where he began his first experience as a Minister in the Vision.

In February 17th, 1991, he was transferred to The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Oworoshoki, Lagos Area.

Later that year, he was ordained as a Pastor, and began his full Ministry in The Apostolic Church Nigeria.

It was when he was at Oworoshoki that he went for a six months course in Chaplin at All Faith Seminary at Sango Ota, Ogun State.

In August 27th, 1998, he was again transferred to The Apostolic Church Nigeria Wuse, Abuja Area, from where he was promoted on 2 [two] different occasions due to his outstanding performance in that field, which are: District Pastor, and District Apostle.

On the 6th of April 2005, he was again transferred to The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Ojoo, Ibadan Area.

During his service in this field he futher added to his skills and knowledge in the Ministry. He attended The School of Deliverance and Healing (SODAH), Bodija-Ibadan.

It was when he was at Ojoo-Ibadan too that he was opportuned to study for a degree course for Bachelor in Theology, in a crash programme organised by The Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Ayegbaju-Ilesa, Osun State.

By March 2010, he was again transferred to The Apostolic Church Nigeria Oregun, Lagos, Agege Area.

In the year 2011. On the 19th of December to be precise, he was promoted to the position of Area Superintendent, and then transferred to The Apostolic Church Nigeria Ajah Area, Lagos, where he served as a Superintendent for the first time in his amazing career.

With outstanding performances spread all over his work stations, he was then transferred again to The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Oshodi Area, to serve as their 7th Area Supritendent, on the 4th of May, 2017. Just after seven outstanding months of service in that Area, he got picked up again, and transferred to The Apostolic Church Nigeria Ijebu-Ode Area on 14th December, 2017.

He was later transferred to Oke- Igbogi Area on 12th November, 2020 where he is presently serving as the 9th Area Superintendent in the Area.

He has been marvellously accompanied throughout all his journey and career as a Minister of the Gospel by his amazing and never relenting wife, Deaconess Deborah Oladunni Ogundele-Jesu, and 6 wonderful and godly children.

Throughout his career, he has been on outreach to many souls nationwide and around the globe, serving as a father, husband, daddy, brother, mentor, uncle, son, and leader, giving all his best to this just course, so that the name of the Lord God is glorified.
