MONDAY 30TH JULY 2018 MORNING PRAYER DEVOTION
SCRIPTURE READING:- GENESIS 16:1–16
TOPIC:- GOD IS NOT DEAD, HIS STILL ALIVE
TEXT:- GENESIS 16:2
The Bible says, “there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” With that eye opener, you will believe with me that no matter what comes our way, God is not dead. See 1Corinthians 10:13.
You must not put off your good intentions, as you never know how much reward you might receive from the hardships you encounter while trying to achieve that good.
If you remember, God was alive in the calamity of Abraham and Sarah’s barreness, but they failed to hold on till the end. They thought that they can have it their own way. Though, they thought it was a perfect deed, but till tomorrow, Christians are at the receiving end.
Beloved! Hold on till the end. For your righteousness, you can save yourself, your family, and the nation at large. He lives! At least, He is the one who holds the sky, the moon, even day and night. Because He lives, you and I can face tomorrow.
God is not dead, He is much alive, I bet you, you will laugh last, because, you have been annointed to carry fire!
Prayer points:-
1. No matter what the situation may be, I will hold on to my God for change, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I command every lingering evil situation in my life, what are you waiting for, disappear completly now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh Lord my God, I know you are alive, annoint me for my special change now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
