THURSDAY 8TH MARCH, 2018 MORNING PRAYER DEVOTION
SCRIPTURE READING:- 1 JOHN 4:1-21
TOPIC:- THE SECOND TIME I SAW JESUS
TEXT:- 1 JOHN 4:4
A. The Second Time I Saw Jesus:
1. On 5th February, 1992, when my 1st born became 1year old, that same day I was celebrating the thanksgiving of my ordination into the Pastoral office, I was poisoned that very day. Four days after, I became sick. After many weeks, in pain and agony of death, late Evangelist and Prophet T.O. Obadare sent for me, and told me that, if I wanted to be healed of the poison and sickness, I must go and stay with a trusted friend for 5 days.
That I did, and on the 1st night, I was miraculously healed. On the 5th day, around 10a.m. two Visitors came to me, right there, in one of the rooms of my friend’s house, where I was lodged. I was not sleeping but in a day revelation, Jesus and a very huge Angel came revealing themselves to me.
On the visitation, as I saw those two Visitors, I was dazed and a little bit frightened as I was by the window side. One wore white garment, a white Man, and sat at the end of the bed with His face down. While the second man, also a white huge man with red cloth on, but standing at the entrance of the room, very angry.
As I was about to shout, “The Lord rebuke you”, the One sitting on the bed, immediately looked up, and said, “I am Jesus. And the one standing at the entrance, is your guardian Angel.” Then, I relaxed a little bit.
I then asked, “Lord Jesus Christ, when You came in, You just sat on the bed, facing down, and more so, the other Angel was not happy, why?”
He then replied me that, “I came here to ask you a question, that your Angel is with Me to carry out, whatever your response will be.” And, “the question is this, ‘What do you want that should happen to those that poisoned you, and caused you to be sick?”
For complete 2 minutes, I was dumbfounded, until He said, “I am waiting for your answer!” It was then I replied, “May God forgive them.” It was at this instance that He stood up and started to leave. I had to stop Him, and said, “You came and got Your answer, and started leaving, why?”
He then said, “I had gotten the answer to the question, infact, you answered rightly. Because, it was 3 people who did the evil work, and that out of them must be saved before dying. And moreover, if you had answered that they should die, your Angel will carry it out immediately. But you have answered well.”
It was at this moment, l couldn’t see them again, and then fell flat on the bed. And later came to my alertness.
2. Why This Vision Again:
a. To obey what I said concerning God who asked me to relate it, just as I said it yesterday.
b. To let you know that you can be tempted by the devil, but never you give up, once you are on the Lord God’s side, victory is yours. See 1 Corinthians 10:13.
c. If you don’t compromise your faith in the Lord God, you will continually be a winner. See Galatians 2:20.
3. Prayer Points:
1. Oh Lord God, I refused to give up, help me to become a winner and conqueror.
2. Oh Lord God, I refused to compromise with the devil and sin, help me to hold on with You without wavering till the end.
3. Oh Lord God, I’m troubled and traumatised, come to my rescue now by fire.
