SATURDAY 21ST JULY 2018 MORNING PRAYER DEVOTION
SCRIPTURE READING:– 2 KINGS 7:3-20
TOPIC:- LET GOD DIRECT YOUR WAYS AND DECISIONS
TEXT:- PSALMS 37:23.
Just like the four leprous men who preferred to die in the midst of the Syrians’ army and saved the Samarian. In which after, they became savior of the Samarian, and also brought the good news of the fulfilled prophecy. See 2 Kings 7:3-20.
In our life too, there are moments of choice when we are confronted on all sides with negative thoughts and possibilities. Some thoughts are so powerful that they overcome us and overwhelm us.
Any action or reaction that changed our focus from relying on Jesus, would likely resulted in death or disaster. Ask yourself, “where is my focus.” “Where is my faith and hope.” In the midst of any storm, “do I keep it on God’s faith always.”
Note this, He will never ever disappoint you, never. Remember, He neither slumbers nor sleeps. See Psalms 121:3-4.
Prayer points:-
1. Oh Lord my God! Help me to trust and rely on You always henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Oh Lord my God! Guide me in all my ways so as not to fall, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh Lord my God! I need your leading in all my every day decision, in the name of Jesus Christ.
