YOUR FINANCIAL POVERTY IS HEALED [2]

FRIDAY 22ND JUNE 2018 MORNING PRAYER DEVOTION

SCRIPTURE READING:- JOSHUA 7:1-26

TOPIC:YOUR FINANCIAL POVERTY IS HEALED [2]

TEXT:- PROVERB 10:6

Henceforth, you will not go about with a cursed head but with a blessed head. The oil of financial favour shall flow over your head and the blessings due to you shall not pass over your righteous head on to another in Jesus name.
You will never be a servant to money. Money is meant to serve you and not the reverse. God wants money to serve the right purpose in the life of His children.

You can score yourself to know who is taking the most of your attention, God or mammon. God will only attend to those whose attention is focused on Him. Once you show sincerity and faithfulness to God He will see to it that righteous money is delivered into your hands to serve His purpose for you on planet earth.
If God gives money to a man who is already drifting away from Him, He will not be doing him good, but helping to kill him. You must first show to God that you are a kingdom seeker or contributor before He can add riches and all other things to you. See Matthew 6:33-34.
Achan was a soldier in Joshua’s army, who had taken part in the great defeat of Jericho. He knew of God’s conditions for victory. He knew that the valuable spoils of war were sacred and must go into God’s treasury.
Otherwise, Israel would experience destruction. Yet Achan had not obeyed the Lord. His desire for material fortune overcame his will to obey God.

He had taken silver, gold, and money, along with a beautiful Babylonian garment. When Joshua cried out to God at his subsequent defeat by the Amorites, the Lord told him that it was because there was sin in the camp. Achan was exposed and he experienced the judgment of God. He and his family were stoned to death, and all his possessions were burned.
That is how God resists those whose minds are centered on material things rather than on Him who called and sealed them for His purpose.

Money will come, but you must first break yourself out of the control of money. Refuse to be controlled by material things and God will put you in charge of kingdom riches and wealth.
In Matthew 19:16-21, a wealthy, young ruler approached Jesus and asked, “Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”
Jesus answered that if the man wanted to enter into eternal life, he must keep the commandments. The young man responded that he had kept all the commandments since he was a young boy. When Jesus heard this, He told the young ruler that there was one more thing to do.

Jesus told him to go and sell all his possessions, give everything to the poor, and follow Him. By doing this, the young ruler would lay up treasures in heaven. But when he heard this, he went away from Jesus very grieved. The young man realized that his heart was bound to his earthly possessions, and he could not give them up … even when it meant the loss of eternal life!
You must settle your attitude first before God’s money can flow into your life.

Prayer Points:-
1. Every satanic bird picking up my seed of prosperity before they grow fall down and die in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Every power that has vowed to turn me into a beggar and borrower in this life, die in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Every battle ordained to overtake riches with rags in my life, expire now in the name of Jesus Christ.

Have A Beautiful Weekend!

ALTAR CALL

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Thank God for your soul. I congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT page or visit TACN or any bible believing church near you and ask for the pastor in charge.
