SATURDAY 4TH AUGUST 2018 MORNING PRAYER DEVOTION
SCRIPTURE READING:– 1 PETERS 5:1-13
TOPIC:- YOU MUST BE SETTLED NOW
TEXT:- 1 PETERS 5:10
The last statement in 1 Peters 5:10 says, “and settle you”. The God that answered Elijah by fire has decided to answer you too by fire, in which your enemies will be disgraced, scattered, and also be silenced permanently, in the name of Jesus Christ.
For God to settle you, there are things you must do:
1. You must submit yourself in total humility to God and others i.e. never you be proud. Note verses 5-6. See Luke 18:9-14.
2. You must cast your burden on God, i.e. you must trust, rely and depend only on God without worrying, but in prayers unto Him. Note verse 7. See 2 Kings 6:1-7.
3. You must be sober and vigilant against the devil, i.e. you must be sensitive and in awareness that devil is never resting to destroy you. Note verse 8. See 2 Kings 6:8-23.
4. You are thereby to resist him, the devil, i.e. never give the devil any chance at all, either of fear or of sin. Note verse 9. See 2 Kings 1:2-17.
After all the above are done, I bet you, Holy Ghost will settle your case, annoint you specially for change, and you will be on your way to celebrate. You will celebrate and be celebrated, in the name of Jesus Christ!
Prayer Points:-
1. Holy Ghost, settle my case now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. You power of devil working against my success and breakthrough, what are you waiting for, die, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. I am walking into my miracle now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
