Thursday 13th September 2018 Morning Prayer Devotion
Scripture Reading:- Acts 16:16-40
Topic:- Wrong Identity
Text:- John 1:46
Our impression is a product of our perception. Positive perception creates good impression while negative perception produces wrong impression.
1. Orpah saw oldness and hopelessness in Naomi and therefore went back to her people, Ruth 1:1-14.
2. Goliath belittled David and thereby died through David, 1 Samuel 17:42.
3. Saul despised David and later became king over him and the entire Israelite, 1 Samuel 16:11.
4. Joseph’s brothers identified him as a mere dreamer and worked for his dream to be fulfilled, Genesis 37:19.
5. Nathaniel did not believe that any good thing could come out of Nazareth until he finally saw Jesus Himself, John 1:46.
6. Even Moses was wrongly identified by his brethren while in Egypt, they said unto him “who made you a judge over us?” Where after, they bowed for his leadership over them, Exodus 2:14.
God performed miracles in the lives of the above named individuals. No matter what impression people have about us, if we please God, He’ll justify us. Wrong identity can change and later become acceptance.
Prayer Points:-
1. I command whatever stigma that I have been labeled with, be erased by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I command all implications, and blackmailing against my destiny, terminate now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh God, that which You have destined for me, I advance there and possess it now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Have A Fulfilling Thursday!
