We are going to discuss the three solid times that Samson played with God’s anointing and power vested upon him, i.e. the anointing given unto him by God right from the womb, and how he messed it up:

1. Samson And The Ungodly/Philistine Lady For A Wife, [Judges 14].
a. He was threading the ground of the enemy’s territory.
b. There are places where you, as a child of God, should not be found. You can avoid so many problems if you can stay out of devil’s and questionable places.
c. Don’t go with Timnah friends because, if you go to places you should not be, expect the worst to happen to you, and thereby be the source of your own evil, i.e. you may not be able to overcome, even in your life time.

2. Samson And The Harlot At Gaza, [Judges 16:1-3].
a. He saw a harlot there, and went in to her, i.e. Samson was in obvious sin here. This is a clear example of how a man so used of God can also sin and sin blatantly.
b. Samson wanted to be used by God, but he also yielded to the deceitfulness of Satan i.e. he kept the external features of his Nazirite vow zealously, while at the same time sinning blatantly with a prostitute.
c. Samson did what we nearly all do when deceived by Satan. i.e. he put his life into categories, and figured that some categories God care about, and some categories God does not care about. Remember and understanding that Jesus has claim over our entire life, is a radical change of perspective.
d. Despite his sin, God still gave Samson supernatural strength to escape from the Philistines. God did this because God’s purpose was bigger than Samson himself.

3. Samson And The Demonic Deadly Delilah, [Judges 16:4-20].
a. He loved a woman…whose name was Delilah, [demonic deadly Delilah]. That is Samson fell in love again, and fell for a woman completely wrong for him. That was another example of the pain and ruin that came into Samson’s life because he did not guard his heart.

b. Samson lied perpetually to Delilah about the source of his strength. The source of Samson’s strength was not obvious. i.e. Delilah knew that Samson was strong, yet she also knew that he could be bound with something, and this was indeed true of Samson.

c. The fact that he did not tell her the truth proved that he knew she had a dangerous intention. And she succeeded by handling him to the enemies. That is the repercussions of all that Samson played with, ended deadly. Beloved! Learn to be led by God, and God alone. Always be obedient to him, for the fire not to be quenched.

Prayer points:-
1. I refuse to die because of any Delilah, Delilah must die instead of me, in the name of Jesus.
2. I command every form and power of Delilah that is operating in my life, catch fire and die, in the name of Jesus.
3. My glory! My departed glory!! What are you waiting for, return and locate me now by fire, in the name of Jesus.

Have A Fulfilling Thursday!

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Thank God for your soul. I congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT page or visit TACN or any bible believing church near you and ask for the pastor in charge.
