They did this because it is written in the Quran in more than 18 places to fight with unbelievers.
It is even written in some places to kill the one who rejects Islam. My dad was obeying the law of the Quran, so he wants to do something.
After few days without food and water, I was dried up. My lips broke and I was trying to lick blood to wet my throat.
My brother came into the room and passed urine into my mouth. That is supposed to be my punishment for accepting Christ.
My stomach was now wrung and my body, weak. I was like a new born baby. I lost my memory power, I can’t think because all my energy was depleted.
I spent more than 20 days there in that room. One day, my father came in while I was unconscious. He removed the chains and choked me on my neck to check if I am still alive. When he choked me deeply that I couldn’t breath, I opened my eyes.
I saw a big knife in his hand, and then he said, “It is your last moment. No hope. If you need Allah, I will allow you to live. If you need Jesus, I will kill you.”
Knowing that it’s my last moment, I thought that since Jesus died and came back to life. If I believe in Jesus, I could also get back to life.
I felt it’s better to die in Jesus. At the point of making this decision, suddenly a light fell on my forehead. It was like a moonlight and their was a kind of electric shock that passed through my veins. I was so energized.
From somewhere, energy flowed into my body. I couldn’t control myself, there was so much energy in my bones. I pulled my dad’s hand off my neck and cried out “Jesus!”
At that, my dad fell. When he fell, he wounded himself with the knife he held and their was a big wound on his chest.
He was bleeding and their was some kind of foam in his mouth. He was screaming. Everyone was shocked.
My mom, brothers and sisters don’t know what was happening. They thought that my dad was already dead.
They took him and ran to the hospital. Being in haste, they forgot to lock my room from outside. I had an energy that I can’t explain. I was like a new born baby. I came out of the room, put on my dad’s clothes and escaped to Potta.
That incidence made me understood that my Jesus is alive. When I call Him for my need, He saved me and that means that He is present here, even now. That is my life.
Friends, this was the salvation story of Mario Joseph, once an Imam but later became a Christian to the glory of God.
Prayer Point:- Oh Lord God, help me to know more and more the truth about You better henceforth by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
