Scripture:- John 4:1-24
Topic:- Why I Change From Muslim To Christian [2]
Text:- John 8:32
One day, I went to my teacher, the one who taught me when I was in the Arabic college.
I asked him, “Teacher, how did God created the universe.” Then, he said that God created the universe through His Word.
The next question I asked is whether the Word of God is a creation or the creator. The Quran says that Jesus is the Word of God. If my teacher say that the Word of God is the Creator, that means that Jesus is the Creator which means that every Muslim must become a Christian.
Supposing he said that the Word is a creation, then he would be trapped. You know why? It because he said earlier that everything is created through the Word.
If the Word is creation, the how did God created the world. Not being able to say that the Word is the creation nor the creator, he became quite angry.
He pushed me out of the room saying, “the word is not the creation nor the creator, you get out of here.”
Muslims say that the word is not the creator nor the creation. They say that the world is not the creation which means the he is not God and at the same time not the creation.
So, I told my Teacher that since the word is not the creator nor the creation maybe that is why the Christians say that the word is the son of God.
He replied that if God has a son, then I must show him his wife. He said that without wife, then there is no chance for having a son.
In response, I showed him a portion of the Quran that says that God can see without eyes, he can talk with tongue, he can hear without ears. It is there written in the Quran.
I said that if that’s the case, then God can also have a child without a wife.
At the end, after leaving my Teacher’s place, I put the Quran on my chest and I said, “Allah, tell me what I should do because your Quran says Jesus is still alive and Muhammad is no more. You tell me whom I should accept.”
After my prayer, then I opened my Quran and I saw chapter 10, verse 94 which says that if you have any doubt in the Quran, go and read the Bible or ask the people who read the Bible. The truth is already revealed in that.
If you ask me that who made me a Christian, it is not any father, any sister, any cardinal, not even the pope himself.
The Quran itself converted me to Christianity. After seeing all these things, I went to a retreat center called the Divine Retreat Center.
While I was doing my Bible study, there are lots of points that touched me from the Bible.
The first day, Father read John chapter 1 which says that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
It also says that the Word became flesh. Both the Quran and the Bible says that Jesus is the Word of God.
Again, one more word that touched me was found in John 1 verse 12. It’s such a lovely word for me because it says that if anyone accept Jesus, then Jesus will give them the power to become the children of God.
You know, in the Quran, Allah calls human being slaves, and that Allah is their master. Master cannot love slaves and the slaves cannot love the master.
I don’t live to be called a slave but the Quran calls me a slave. So, when I read that Jesus gives people who believe in him power to become children of God, immediately I said I need Jesus.
If you ask me, I cannot express my joy when I call God “Dad”. Whenever I think that the creator of the universe is my dad, I have a kind of joy that I cannot express.
There I decided to accept Jesus. After looking for me for days, my dad finally came there.
It was very horrible because he beat me very badly. I was bleeding from my nose and I fell unconscious. He took me home while I was unconscious.
When I came in conscious, I was in a small room without any clothes. I was completely naked. My hand and my legs were chained very tightly.
I couldn’t even speak because their was chili powder in my mouth, nose, eyes and wherever their was wound in my body.
Prayer Point:- Oh Lord God, help me to know more and more the truth about You better henceforth by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Have A Great Thursday!
