What God Cannot Do [2]

Wednesday 20th March 2019 Morning Prayer Devotion

Scripture Reading:- Psalm 121

Topic:- What God Cannot Do [2]

Text:- Jeremiah 32:17

6. God Cannot Sin. It is man that uses to sin but with God, He cannot fall into temptation nor sin. God is so holy that He cannot and will never sin because His nature, His character and His attributes is holy. He hates sin to the extent that He forsaken His only begotten Son on the Cross not until His Son cried and shouted saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?” See 1 Peter 1:16; Hebrew 4:15.

7. God Cannot Save Satan – The end of Satan had been concluded long time ago, and his end is to perish and be consumed in hell fire, even with his fallen angels and death too. No wonder, all his battle over has failed because you have Jesus, as Jesus Himself declared on the Cross that, “It is finished.” No amount of prayers you offered for His salvation nor pity you want God to have for him, he cannot be saved. See Matthew 16:18; Revelation 12:7-10; 20:10,14.

8. God Cannot Die. God is not a man that dies. He is the Beginning and the Ending, the Alpha and the Omega. Nobody created Him, and is why is His name is, “I Am that I Am”. Man would have even been privileged to life for ever like Him when he was created in the beginning but because of disobedience, man then face death. So, God cannot die, that is nature, to live for ever and ever. See Habakkuk 1:12; John 4:24.

9. God Cannot Sleep – If God should sleep nor slumber for one second, be ready that the whole will crumble bad perish. It is because He can’t sleep, that’s why the whole is still as it is. Your being alive is one of the reasons He can’t sleep. Answering your prayers is one of the reasons He can’t sleep. One of His names, nature and attributes is Omnipresent which also make Him not to be able to sleep. Our God never sleep nor slumber, Hallelujah. See Psalm 121:3-4.

10. God Cannot Fails – Our God knows no failure. It is only man and Satan that can failed. No impossibility with Him. When you trust Him for anything, surely He will not fail You. See Deuteronomy 31:8; Joshua 21:45; Psalm 37:1-7.

11. God Can’t Be Prejudiced – “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears him and works righteousness is accepted by him.” See Acts 10:34-35.

12. God can’t remember sins that has be confessed and forgiven – Isaiah 43:25 says, “I, even I, Am he who blots out your transgressions for my Own sake; and I will not remember your sins.”

13. God Can’t Abandon You – In Deuteronomy 31:6, Moses said, “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

14. God can’t stop thinking about you – Psalm 139:17-18 says, “How precious also are your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I Am still with you.”

15. God Can’t Stop Loving You – In Jeremiah 31:3, God says through Prophet Jeremiah says that, “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.
