Text:- Matthew 25:25
c. What is Unbelief? God has called us to do what people say was impossible to do. This is possible by focusing our faith on God’s ability and faithfulness to do and work His will through us. See Philippians 2:13; Hebrews 13:20-21.
• Unbelief is a deadly enemy of God’s plan for you in the ministry. See Matthew 17:20.
• Elisha received the double portion of his master’s spirit because he believed. See 2 Kings 2:9-10,15.
• Unbelief nullifies the power of faith. Jesus had to send out unbelievers from the room before He could raise the daughter of Jairus. See Matthew 9:23-26.
d. What are Excuses? Do not give excuses for not doing what God expects you to do. See James 1:8.
• Whenever you are looking for an excuse, you will surely get it. Excuses are dangerous enemy that can keep you from possessing your possession before God.
• Excuses was the greatest undoing of Moses. It brought Aaron into the picture. See Exodus 4:10-15.
• It is unfortunate to see many ministers wasting their opportunities to do great exploits for God through unnecessary excuses. See Luke 9:59-60.
• Delayed obedience is disobedience. See 1 Samuel 15:22.
• Excuses are Satan’s sedatives to lure you into the sheep of death of opportunities.
e. What is Rebellion? It is the fruit of disobedience to God’s command which are meant for your good. See Deuteronomy 10:12-13; Romans 8:28-30.
• Each act of disobedience will lead you deeper into trouble and farther from the purpose and will of God for your life. See 1 Samuel 15:22-23.
• Your obedience will change the fortune of others. See 1 Kings 17:9-16.
5. Conclusion:
a. God will never expose you to what is above you to accomplish. See 1 Corinthians 10:13; Philippians 1:6.
b. No matter how rough the terrain of your ministry might be, always remember His promise to you never to leave you nor forsake you. See Hebrews 13:5-6.
c. You are His servant through whom He shall be glorified. See Isaiah 49:1-6.
Prayer Point: I command every anti- ministration success in life, die by fire now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
