Understanding The Destroyer

Friday 26th April 2019 Prayer Devotion

Scripture Reading:- Acts 9:1-16

Topic:- Understanding The Destroyer

Text:- John 10:10

You need to understand the works and activities of the destroyer, so as to be prepared, and strike before they attack you. And failure to strike before they strike can lead to your untimely death, God forbid! The followings are different destroyers to note:

1. Salvation Destroyer – They are devil’s agents that are sent to monitor your salvation i.e. right from the day you are saved and born again, they will make sure that you backslide and turn away from serving your Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. They can use discouragement, lust, worldliness, love of money, etc. It’s you who must be on guard like Paul and Silas. See Acts 16:1-31.

2. Joy Destroyer – They are devil’s agents that are sent to destroy your properties, all what you laboured for for ages, kill your beloved ones, and even your health. They are mercilessly until they finished their assignment like it happened to Job. Finish them on your knees through your unrelenting prayer. See Psalm 35:1-5.

3. Prayer Destroyer – Since they know that one of your weapons of power is prayer, they will look for means to silence you prayer life either by lukewarmness, tiredness or sin. But if you rise up like Daniel and fainted not in prayer, then victory is yours. See Daniel 10:1-21.

4. Destiny Destroyer – This agents of the devil are sent to be monitoring you even after you are born into this world, let alone even after they know that you are have been destined to be grate in life. They won’t stop at nothing until their mission are accomplished. See Daniel 6.

5. Testimony Destroyer – This agents of the devil will only wait for you to get your testimony ready and later strike to destroy that celebrated testimony. They won’t disturb you when you are on your way to up but will do everything possible to bring you down from up. They will making sure they terminate that joy and testimony like they tried Paul/Saul. See Acts 9:1-20.

Prayer Points:-
1. I command all testimony, holy living and my heavenly bound destroyers, what are you waiting for, summersult and catch fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I command all those that are out to kill my joy and salvation, crashland and catch fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. I command any power, waiting to waste my life, what are you waiting for, be wasted now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Happy Weekend!

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Thank God for your soul. I congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT page or visit TACN or any bible believing church near you and ask for the pastor in charge.
