Two Reasonable Questions On Sin

Saturday 1st August 2020 Devotion
Scripture:- Genesis 16:1-16
Topic:- Two Reasonable Questions On Sin
Text:- 1 John 5:17

  1. Is It A Sin:
A Christian sister got pregnant and the Church decided to discipline her since she was not married.
When the Elders of the Church met and interviewed her.
She told them that she has stayed and remained in the Church for several years and no one is marrying her.
And she is getting to and approaching the age of menopause where she can’t get pregnant even if married.
So after reading some Christian Medical Journals on this issues, she decided and did Artificial Insemination since she too wants a child.
She tendered both the Medical Journals and the Medical documents that showed that she has done the Artificial Insemination from a reputable Hospital.
The Sister is pregnant without committing fornication nor adultery with any man,
NOW, COULD THIS BE A SIN?
Kindly give your reasons for your answer and if possible back it with Scripture, so that we can learn. You may wish to send to your Christian friends and see their position on the matter.
  2. Who Has Committed Sin:
A Priest requested for fund raising to build a Church.
Then the Congregation contributed 300k [Thousand Naira] only.
Immediately after, Thieves entered and held the Church under siege and ordered everyone to hand out everything in their pockets. They gathered 8 million, 200 hundred thousands and 50cents.
Later, the Thieves gave the cash to the Priest in order to fund the Church building project.
Who has committed sin between the Priest, the Thieves and the Church Congregation?

Prayer Point:- May God help us not to fall into temptation nor sin, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Happy New Month!

ALTAR CALL

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Thank God for your soul. I congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT page or visit TACN or any bible believing church near you and ask for the pastor in charge.
