A. A Story on The Journey Is So Short:
A young lady sat in public transport. An elderly grumpy lady came and sat by her as she bumped into her with her numerous bags, the other neighbor got upset, asking the young lady why she did not protest and insist on her rights.
She responded with a smile, “It is not necessary to be rude or argue over something so insignificant!” I will alight at the next stop, our journey together is so short, replied the young Lady.
Here’s a response which deserves to be written in Golden letters in our daily behaviours and everywhere. “It is not necessary to argue over something so insignificant, our journey together is so short!”
Did someone break ur heart? Be calm, the journey is so short! Did someone betray, bully, cheat or humiliate you? Be calm, forgive, the journey is so short! Whatever penalty anyone serves us, let’s remember that the journey TOGETHER is so short.
B. True Versus False Forgiveness:

  1. If you don’t forgive, that is disobedience to God, and you will dearly for it ,and go to hell at the end. See Luke 23:39-43.
  2. If you said you had forgiven and you don’t forget it completely in your heart, then there is no forgiveness but false forgiveness. See Galatians 2:11-21.
  3. True, sincere and real forgiveness is to forgive and forget like God. See Isaiah 43:25; Hebrews 8:12.
    C. Ways To Go About Forgiveness:
  4. Go and tell the person yourself, i.e. one on one appeal. See Matthew 5:23-24; 18:15.
  5. Go with one or two people to appeal. See Matthew 18:16.
  6. Go to the Church/Elders to plead on your behalf. Matthew 18:17.
    D. Some Examples Of True And False Forgiveness:
  7. Between Esau and Jacob. See Genesis 32:1-32.
  8. Between David, Joab, Adonijah, Abiathah, Shemei and Solomon. See 1 Kings 2:5-46.
  9. Between Job and His friends. See Job 42:1-10.
  10. Between the Prodigal son and his brother. See Luke 15:11-32.
  11. Between Stephen and Saul. See Acts 7:55-60.
  12. Between Jesus and Saul. See Acts 9:1-20.
  13. An experienced between a Couple.
In Conclusion: Forgiveness is good, is God’s command, it’s peaceful, it’s answer your prayer and eventually, take you To heaven to reign with Jesus at the end. Please, forgive!

Prayer Points:-

  1. I command your sins to be forgiven and washed by His blood completely henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  2. Oh Lord God, in Your infinite mercy forgive me all my unforgiving act and be merciful to me, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  3. O Lord God, destroy completely the seed of unforgiveness and bitterness in my life, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  4. I command you power and spirit of malice holding me down to have grudges, enough is enough, die by fire God’s consuming fire now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  5. Malicious behaviour in my life, die by God’s consuming fire now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  6. O Lord God, release to me all hanging blessings and answers to my unanswered prayers as a result of unforgiveness, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  7. Spirit of unforgiving and power of malice, what are you still waiting for, God’s consuming fire, fire you, in the name of Jesus Christ.

ALTAR CALL

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Thank God for your soul. I congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT page or visit TACN or any bible believing church near you and ask for the pastor in charge.
