Text:- Romans 7:24

A. What Is Deliverance:
1. The action of being rescued or set free by prayers for someone.
2. Another words for deliverance are liberation, release, freeing, rescue, delivery, discharge, ransom, emancipation.
3. In Christianity, deliverance ministry refers to the activity of cleansing a person of demons and evil spirits in order to address problems manifesting in their life as a result of the presence of said entities and the root causes of their authority to oppress the person.
4. There is a secular definition of deliverance and it is, the act of delivering someone or something by the state of being delivered especially by liberation or rescue.
5. Deliverance is also defined as “a rescue from bondage or danger.”
6. Deliverance definition in other way is rescued from imprisonment, danger , or evil.

B. Paul Experienced Deliverance Too:
1. In Romans 7:14-15, he accepted that he needed deliverance.
2. In Romans 7:24, he cried for help.
3. In Romans 7:25, he accepted that Jesus has done it for him.

C. Jesus Teaches On Deliverance:
1. The way we are born need deliverance. See John 8:44.
2. Only by  truth of knowing Jesus. See John 8:32.
3. Jesus only is the true deliverer. See John 8:36.

D. Three Ways Of Deliverance:
1. You can have one on one deliverance, i.e you go for counselling like Doctor and patients . See John 4:5-30.
2. Personal deliverance on your own, on waiting on God, you alone with God in prayer and fasting. See Genesis 32:22-30
3. Mass Deliverance, i.e. in a service or crusade that you will be touched by God, and you yourself will know that truly, God has set you free. See 2 Chronicles 20:1-29.

Prayer Point:- Oh Lord God, I need Your total deliverance, liberate now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
