Topic:- The Two Goliaths Of David [2]
Text:- 2 Samuel 11:1
B. The unmentioned 2nd Goliath in David’s life that he failed to conque:
1. The seven things David fell into for failing to go to war. See 2 Samuel 11:1-4.
a. He arose from bed i.e. resting while others were at the battle front. See 2 Samuel 11:1-2.
b. He walked upon the roof of his house, i.e. likely being proud. See 2 Samuel 11:2.
c. He saw a woman bathing, washing the total body. See 2 Samuel 11:2.
d. The woman bathing was very beautiful to look upon, i.e. you cannot but look. See 2 Samuel 11:2.
e. He inquired of the woman he saw bathing. See 2 Samuel 11:3.
f. He sent for her to take her. See 2 Samuel 11:4.
g. He laid with her without her refusing. See 2 Samuel 11:4.
2. Seven series of the un-identified Goliathq of David:
a. Lusted after a woman, Bathsheba. See 2 Samuel 11:4; Job 31:1; Matthew 5:28.
b. Committed adultery with Bathsheba. See 2 Samuel 11:4; Exodus 20:14; Galatians 5:19.
c. Stole another man’s wife. See Samuel 11:4; Exodus 20:15.
d. Coveted another man’s wife. See 2 Sam 11:2-4; Exodus 20:17.
e. Manipulated and nary implicated Bathsheba’s husband, Uriah. See 2 Samuel 11:6-13; Romans 1:26-32.
f. Killed and murdered Uriah. See 2 Sam 11:14; Matthew 5:21-22.
g. Judging other for His sin. See 2 Samuel 12:1-5; Matthew 7:1-5.
3. Why David failed to kill the un-identified Goliath:
a. He thought was the king above sin. See 2 Samuel 12:1-5; Philippians 3:12-14.
b. Failed to know he is carnal. See Romans 7:14-25.
b. Failed to discipline himself. See 1 Corinthians 9:27.

Prayer Points:-
1. I command every un-identified Goliath, show and be revealed unto me now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I command every hidden sin of mine, manifest and die by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. All you Goliaths in my life and stubborn pursuers, what are you waiting for, die by fire now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
