Topic:- The Names And Titles Of The Holy Spirit
Text:- John 14:26
The following provide much insight into His true nature, He is called:
1. The Spirit of God, i.e. Him and God can never be separated. See 1 Corinthians 3:16.
2. The Spirit of Christ, i.e. Him and Jesus Christ can never be separated. Holy Spirit is one with Jesus Christ and God, that’s what makes the Trinity. See Romans 8:9; Genesis 1:26.
3. The Eternal Spirit. For you to forever and eternally, you definitely need Him in your life. See Hebrew 9:14.
4. The Spirit of Truth. If you are confused about a situation or being challenged, or you want to live a truthful life, then, you need Him in your life. See John 16:13.
5. The Spirit of Grace. If you want the Grace of God to be sufficient for you, then you need Him in your life. See Hebrew 10:29.
6. The Spirit of Glory. If you want to arise and shine, and your glory to be made manifest, then you need Him in your life. I Peter 4:14.
7. The Spirit of Life. If you want to live being full of life, and death not to be a treat unto you, then you need Him in your life. See Romans 8:2.
8. The Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation. If you want to possess gift of Revelation Knowledge, then you need Him in your life fully. See Ephesians 1:17.
9. The Spirit of Promise. If you want everything promised by God for you to come to pass, then you need Him in your life. See Acts 1:4-5.
10. The Spirit of Adoption. If you want to be integrated into the family of God, being Sonship of God, then you need Him in your life. See Romans 8:15
11. The Spirit of Holiness. If you want to live holy and perfect life, and there by see God, and also reign with Christ forever, then you need Him in your life. See Romans 1:4; Hebrew 12:14.
12. The Spirit of Faith. If you want to be operating supernaturally through faith in Christ, and be pleasing to God, then you need Him in your life. See 2 Corinthians 4:13; Hebrew 11:6.
13. The Comforter. The only comfort you can have in this world is only find in Him. See John 14:26.
Prayer Points:-
1. Holy Spirit, I need You in my life henceforth by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Oh Lord God, I need Holy Spirit in my life in fullness henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Lord Jesus Christ, I need Holy Spirit in my life with His fire and holiness henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
