Topic:- The Ministry Of Holy Spirit Upon Some People
Text:- Genesis 41:38
The Ministry Of Holy Spirit as He came upon or manifested on the following people:
1. He came upon Joseph to fulfill a long almost forgotten promised of being a leader over his brethren, his father, and his people. See Genesis 41:38.
2. He came upon 70 Elders in Israel as selected for their own ministry through the Spirit upon Moses. See Numbers 11:17.
3. He came upon Joshua for His own successful ministry through Moses. See Numbers 27:18.
4. He came upon Othniel to be a successful judge over Israel. See Judges 3:10.
5. He came upon Gideon for him too to be a successful judge over Israel. See Judges 6:34.
6. He came upon Jepthah too for him to be a successful judge over Israel, even after he was earlier rejected by his kinsmen. See Judges 11:29.
7. He came upon Samson for him to judge Israel successfully through his special gift of strength. See Judges 14:6; 19:15; 14-15.
8. He came upon Saul for him to confirm that he was truly the chosen King of Israel. See I Samuel 10:10.
9. He came upon David to confirm him as the new King of Israel. See I Samuel 16:13; Psalm 51:11.
10. He came upon Elijah to demonstrate and convince the Israelites that his God can consumed with fire, and also that his God can answer with fire. See 1 Kings 18:12; II Kings 2:16.
11. He came upon Elisha for him to receive double portion of Elijah spirit. See 2 Kings 2:15.
12. He came upon Ezekiel for him to be one of the leading Prophets in the Old Testament time. See Ezekiel 2:2.
13. He came upon Daniel to become a notable and incomparable in the land of captivity. See Daniel 4:9; 5:11; 6:3.
14. He came upon Micah to be one of the Minor Prophets in Israel. See Micah 3:8.
15. He came upon Azariah the Prophet for a successful ministry. See 2 Chronicles 15:1.
16. He came upon Sachariah the High Priest for a successful Priesthood. See 2 Chronicles 24:20.
So, for You too to have the ministry of Holy Spirit, He must come upon you. Why can’t you invite Him now into your life for you too to have successful ending with Him.
Prayer Points:-
1. Holy Spirit! Fill me and empower me henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Holy Spirit! You are welcome into my life now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh Lord God, I want the ministry of Holy Spirit to begin to manifest and operate in my life henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
