Scripture:- Daniel 10:1-21
Topic:- The King And Prince Of Persia
Text:- Daniel 10:13
Who was the Prince of Persia in Daniel’s novel, was it Satan or an Angel more powerful than the Demon?
A guy, known as Prince of Persia, is listed in Daniel’s novel. Maybe this guy was the explanation why the term “Leaderships” was invented.
The first apparition of evil in high places, so terrible and powerful that it can hinder a mighty Angel from meeting a human being of Priestly Priesthood.
The Prince of Persia ‘s identity is not necessarily given, however, just that was very powerful, really incredibly strong.
I think, an Archangel like Gabriel would only stop a very powerful being coming across as a Prophet.
According to Daniel’s book, he was standing on the ground three long weeks with Gabriel and did not even budge.
It was in the celestial world to a degree where Michael would come down and take Gabriel ‘s place in the battles against it.
The query, then, is, Who is it? What’s the Prince of Persia ‘s identity? A terror of all and solid enough to hold up for three weeks with an Archangel.
To say it frankly, only one person is aware of the characteristics of the Prince of Persia. However, immediately leap into a decision would not be advisable.
I shall therefore regard Jewish texts and other texts as the most important entities, split them into two, and choose one as Prince of Persia.
Still I was resisted twenty one days by the Prince of the Persian Empire. Then came to my assistance Michael, one of the leading princes, since I was detained with the King of Persia.
The first thing that appears in my mind is the simple word if you hear the title Prince of Persia.
Which may demonstrate a being or man who is associated with Persia ‘s kingdom.
However, it is difficult to believe that the figure identified as the Prince of Persia may in no manner be a human being, based on the notion described in the book of Daniel. That leaves the spiritual beings concept to us.
The word Prince of Persia applies spiritually to the concept of Territorial Spirits (this is discussed in my next issue).
The territorial spirit occurs in particular throughout the Persian territories. No text has ever mentioned that spirit, but when you look beyond the confines of known Jewish texts, traces of much-needed information could be found.
The book of Enoch speaks of a certain being imprisoned in the desert which was called Azazel. One of the strongest beings in the religious texts’ records.
In his years this led thousands to go astray. This led, however, to his detention.
The Persian region now is technically consistent with the areas detailed as the site in which this powerful being has been imprisoned.
Obviously, if we consider that this was eventually called a demon or territorial spirit, the idea that Azazel may be the Prince of Persia makes sense to yield to the idea.
Although I don’t like this idea especially, it looks like an extension. The idea that is more meaningful to me, however, is that the Devil was the one in Daniel’s book that is the Persian Prince.
The Bible states that Lucifer was the only one who had the capacity to resist an archangel. He could stand with Michael’s Archangel to the point of calling on him to beat the name of God.
Indeed, Angel Michael had to call upon the Lord ‘s name twice to beat the Devil. So what does that actually say about Lucifer?
It only means that the devil is actually powerful enough to stop the archangels and it makes sense that the devil is the only one with the capacity to delay the arrival of Angel Gabriel to the Prophet Daniel.
One thing is that an Archangel is one day delayed, but it’s totally different that an Archangel can be delayed for three weeks. It must have taken a lot of strength to do that and Lucifer only thinks of a person.
The Bible does indeed give an indication of the power of the devil. From the splendor of John’s image to the fact that he was described as a dragon who only used his tail to sweep over one third of the heaven-stars.
The stars in the sky represent the angels in the sky.
So in Daniel’s book, I think the Prince of Persia is the devil.
