Monday 8th October 2018 Morning Prayer Devotion
Scripture Reading:- Daniel 310-25
Topic:- The Fire Of God
Text:- Leviticus 10:2
In the Old Testament, the fire of God is referred to as the glory of God, Exodus 24:1-17. The power of God, Exodus 3:20. The presence of God, Exodus 3:21-22.
While in the New Testament, it is called the baptism of fire, Luke 3:16. A sound from heaven as a mighty rushing mighty wind, Acts 2:2. The cloven tongues of fire, Acts 2:30. It is also called the power of the Holy Ghost, Acts 10:38. And the Anointing and Auction of the Holy Spirit, 1 John 2:20, 27.
Understand that this fire can consume, Deuteronomy 3:24; Hebrew 12:29. And can also purge, Matthew 3:11-12; Luke 3:16-17.
If you have this fire of God, the enemies will not be able to touch you, Exodus 33:11-23; 34:29-35; Psalm 105:14-15. The fire will consume the sinners, Leviticus 10:1-20. It will answer your prayers, 1Kings 18:20-39. It will heal and deliver you, Luke 8:43-48; Acts 10:38. It will protect you from being harmed, John 18:5-6. It will give you boldness to act, Acts 4:31. And also cleanse you, Luke 3:16-17.
The three Hebrews are good examples of people who had the fire of God in them. See Daniel 3:8-27. The fire in them was more powerful than the fire of their enemies, and that was why they could not be burnt. The good news I have for you is that once you have the fire of God in you, you will become a terror to Satan and your enemies.
Therefore, I advise you to catch fire.
Prayer Points:-
1. I command every strange fire in my life, die now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Holy Ghost fire! Go to my foundation and operate me now for my miracle, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh Lord God! I release myself for Your fire now, fill me and empower me, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Have a Beautiful Monday!
