Text:- Exodus 3:2
The Fire In The Bush, A Meeting with God: We read of an experience that Moses had while he was in “the backside of the desert”. See Exodus 3:2-6.
Moses had a meeting with God. His meeting with God was a life changing experience. From then on, the course of Moses life went in a different direction. He could now serve God acceptably.
Did you know that God wants to meet with YOU? Here is God’s gracious invitation to every person, Jew and Gentile alike. See John 6:37; Matthew 11:28.
A person must be burdened with the weight of their sin before there will ever be a desire to come to the Savior. Only those who acknowledge they are lost can be saved.
Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ must be preceded by repentance toward God.
Have YOU had your meeting with God? Have YOU ever had a conversion experience? Was there ever a time when, a place where, and a manner how YOU were saved from your sins?
You come by “believing” You come by “receiving” Christ as your own personal Savior.“ As many as received Him, to them gave He power (the right or authority) to become the sons of God”. You come by “accepting” God’s free gift of salvation. See Acts 16:31; John 1:12; Romans 6:23.
“The GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. Because God’s Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, finished the work of salvation by offering Himself as a sacrifice for our sins on the cross of Calvary.
God can now offer salvation to you as a free gift to all who meet with Him, God promises the gift of “rest”, it cannot be earned or merited on your part.
You can have the “rest of salvation” and the “rest of conscience” that follows the realization that the penalty of one’s sins has been paid once for all and that God will not demand payment twice.
Those who have never had a salvation experience through a personal meeting with God must face the prospect of another fire. This leads us to the last point we want to consider.
Prayer Points:-
1. Oh Lord God, let me experience Your consuming fire just as Moses experienced You both in the bush and also saw Your backside henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I command every anchor of wasters, vanish from my body God’s consuming fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Let the power of the shadow of the Almighty overshadow me henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. O Lord God, make my body too hot for every demon of sickness by God’s consuming fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. My blood, be vaccinated by the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ.
6. Diseases unto death, I am not your candidate, die by God’s consuming fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
7. I render my body undevourable to eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood, in the name of Jesus Christ.
