Topic:- The Divine Protection Over Elijah
Text:- 1 Kings 17:3
Immediately he delivered the message, the Prophet vanished as suddenly as he had appeared, and, guided by the Spirit of God, he took himself by the Brook Cherith, to the East of the Jordan.
This is what the Bible says again as a miracle, by the order of God Himself. And the Bible is the only document we have in describing this episode.
Then the Word of the Lord came to Elijah, “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Brook Cherith, East of the Jordan, “You will drink from the Brook, and I have ordered the Ravens to feed you there.” So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Brook Cherith, East of the Jordan, and stayed there. See 1 Kings 17:2-5.
Why are you afraid of the enemies, you are secure when you are with Christ, and Christ is with you. See Romans 8:31; 1 John 4:4.
Prayer Points:-
1. Oh Lord God, secure me with Your total protection henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Oh Lord God, help me to dwell in Your secret place, and let me abide under Your shadow henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. I command abundant protection to overshadow me and my family henceforth by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Oh Lord God, make me invisible to all the darts of the enemies henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. Holy Ghost, released Your glorious presence into my life henceforth by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
