Topic:- The Divine Confidence, Fearlessness And Boldness Of Elijah
Text:- 1 Kings 17:1
His name means, “The LORD is my God.” The message of his life matched his name. The message Elijah championed rang clear and seemingly easy.
Jezebel stood at the front of that line, she sought out and put Prophets of God to death. Meanwhile, her husband, King Ahab, allowed it and simply continued worshiping Baal.
An unwelcome message, however, didn’t deter Elijah. He bravely championed God Almighty and the messages given from God.
Because of his fearlessness, Elijah appeared from nowhere and confronted the evil practices of the King, and commanded the beginning of the drought that lasted for 3 and half years.
We can see biblical example of the same situation from the Young Prophet who was also a “Man of God” and spoke against the evil deed of the King Jeroboam, and the Altar. See 1 Kings 13:1-5.
You too can use the authority given to you by God as you call the name of Jesus Christ in holiness over all your challenges, and you will experience the miraculous.
Prayer Points:-
1. Oh Lord God, I refuse to be an instrument in the hand of the devil, make me Your own true child henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I command every evil hand that is operating in my life, what are you waiting for, paralyze now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh Lord God, fill and empower me with Your boldness, and cause my fear to die, in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. I command every evil that is confronting me, die by fire now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. I decree, I’m not a candidate for failure but candidate of success and glory, in the name of Jesus Christ.
