SUNDAY 29TH JULY 2018 MORNING PRAYER DEVOTION
SCRIPTURE READING:- MATTHEW 2:1-23
TOPIC:- NO MORE IMPLICATION FOR YOU
TEXT:- MATTHEW 2:8.
What is the meaning of the word implication? It means, “A possible future effect or result of an action, event, decision.” It also means, “A situation in which it is shown or suggested that someone or something is involved in a crime or a dishonest act.
The story of the wise men who came from far East to give Jesus gifts after His birth would have turned to implication by Herod, if not because of the directives and the grace of God upon those men. Still, the innocent children born at that time suffered for it. See Matthew 2:12,16.
