Narrating My First Time I Saw Jesus Christ

Friday 19th October 2018 Morning Prayer Devotion

Scripture Reading:- John 8:1-11

Topic:- Narrating My First Time I Saw Jesus Christ

Text:- Isaiah 43:25

A. The First Time I Saw Jesus:
The first time I saw Jesus, it was in a dream. I was fasting for 7 days in my father’s prayer room in his home town at Ondo. The prayer was based on my conflicting ways open for me to confirm which way to go, out of three options open for me, on where to start my ministry.
The time was early April, 1986. On the first day of the 7 days prayer and fasting, I was only requesting for forgiveness and repentance from all my sins. It was around 2a.m. of the second day, that Jesus appeared unto me in a dream, and told me that, “Your sins, are forgiven you.”
Let me relate the dream vividly. I saw that, “I was inside a Church, jamparked with people. I saw myself debating with my own blood brother, [who is also a Minister of God too now]. People inside the Church were listening to our argument on the debate with rapt attention. And the topic we were debating upon were: mine was, ‘If you are born again, you can still fall’. While my brother was debating on, ‘Once you are born again, you can never fall’. The argument was getting hotter than before, and people were trooping in more and more.”
Just of a sudden, “I saw that people were not focusing on us again. They were now all looking outside the Church. I was surprised, and also tried to look out, somebody just shouted, “Jesus has come! Jesus has come!”

As I too focused my attention to look outside, “I spotted a very shinning red sport car without a roof. I saw One Man sitting inside the car. A White Man, with a long golden hair, in a white robe. Immediately, He looked towards my direction, pointed His hand towards me, and said, ‘Come’!
As I was getting nearer the car, “I could not look upon His face again because the glory upon Him was so astonishing. I didn’t know the time I fell on my face to the ground, weeping, as I was by the car.” “He later told me, and said, ‘Your sins are forgiven you. Stand up, come and enter the car with Me’. As I opened the door to enter into the car with Him,” I awoke.
That was the first time, I saw the Lord Jesus Christ. And my life and ministry changed afterwards as a child of God. It was after then I choose to become Minister in The Apostolic Church Nigeria.

2. Why Saying And Narrating The Revelation:
I’m not narrating the revelation for me to be known or seen, God forbid, Him alone be praised, honour and glory be unto Him. I heard Him audibly saying, “Tell people about the three revelations of Myself to you. Let them learn that I exists.”
A. You can be called a leader of the Church or an officer in the Church of God, yet, may not know the Lord or be born again. See Matthew 7:21-23.
B. According to one of the Doctrines of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, which says, “The possibility of falling from Grace,” [See the Tenets of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, No 9]. For Example: Demas in 2 Timothy 4:10.
C. If truly you have known the Lord, and your sins had been forgiven, there must be evidence clearly seen by people that you have truly seen the Lord. For Example: Saul on his way to Damascus in Acts 9:1-22. See Isaiah 43:25.

Prayer Points:-
1. I pray that my name will be written in the book of life, and remains there forever, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I refuse to fall, oh Lord God, strengthen me to remain in You for ever, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh Lord God, help me to be shinning for You, and to know You more than before, in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Oh Lord God, rain upon me, Your morning rain, in the name of Jesus Christ.

ALTAR CALL

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Thank God for your soul. I congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT page or visit TACN or any bible believing church near you and ask for the pastor in charge.
