TUESDAY 31ST JULY 2018 MORNING PRAYER DEVOTION
SCRIPTURE READING:- ACTS 9:32-43.
TOPIC:- JESUS CHRIST HEALS YOU
TEXT:- ACTS 9:34
The story about Aeneas sickness and Peter issued an authority in the name of Jesus Christ for his healing, in (Acts 9:34), will lead us to discuss about five types of healing, in which Jesus Christ specialise upon, and which He went about doing. See Acts 10:38.
1. Mind/soul healing: This type of sickness can make the victim to break down, and can even get to the point of insanity or madness. But Jesus is capable and up to the task. See Luke 7:1-10.
2. Physical healing: This type of sickness can be seen and without doubt, you will see the victim, that definitely he or she is in need of help and healing. If you are in such position, then Jesus is always available for you. See Acts 9:32-43.
3. Emotional healing: This healing is the healing of your character in which if you are not broken down completely and healed by fire, it can lead you to hell, (Matthew 7 :21-23). You will remember that Jesus Christ called Peter Satan, Matthew 16:23. Not until he prayed for him for his healing, Luke 22:32. You too can be healed emotionally and be anointed for change by fire, and thereafter, live the best life God wants you to live, 3 John 2. See Matthew 16:21-23.
4. Financial healing- This is a sickness that affects your money, even to the extent of being in debt. But the good news is that your condition has been settled by fire long, long time ago, Phillipians 4:19. See 2 Kings 4:1-7.
5. Spiritual healing: This type of sickness can only be done by Jesus Christ, because that was the main reason for His coming to this world, to die on the cross for us, to save our souls, John 3:16. See Matthew 26:69-75.
Prayer points:-
1. Oh Lord God, come to my rescue and save my soul from hell, and make me heavenly bound till the end, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Lord Jesus! You are the healer, heal me now from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet now by fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. Oh Lord my God, anoint me now by fire and heal my spirit, soul and body completly, in the name of Jesus Christ.
