TOPIC: IF THE FOUNDATION BE DESTROYED, WHAT CAN THE RIGHTEOUS DO?
SCRIPTURE READING:- 1 CORINTHIANS 3:10-17.
TEXT:- PSALM 11:3.
A. This is one of the numerous questions in the Bible that was not immediately answered.
B. Now, in answering the raised question to the topic, “If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
1. Note some notable words:
a. Foundation.
b. Be Destroyed.
c. The Righteous.
d. What he can do.
C. About Foundation in General:
1. You may decide to build better building than formal one, then formal foundation must be destroyed.
2. Devil is usually the foundation destroyer. He is always interested in destroying foundations, i.e. good foundation. See John 10:10.
3. Some of destroyed foundations:
a. Parental/Generation Foundation, [Matthew 27:25].
b. Name Foundation, [Daniel 1:6-8, Daniel meant, “God is Judge” while it was changed to Belteshazzar which means, “Bel [the chief god in Babylon] will protect.” See verse 7, i.e. the interpretation in the Bible.
c. Worship Foundation, [Ephesians 2:20-22].
d. Sex Foundation, [Leviticus 18:20-23].
D. The Righteous:
1. Worldly Righteousness. See Isaiah 64:6;
E.g. Cornelius in Acts 10:1-9.
Note:
a. This set of righteous people can never make heaven.
b.Their foundation will remains destroyed.
c. And the answer to the question raised is, there is nothing they can do, because their foundation is evil.”
d. Acts 11:14
2. Accepted and Real Righteous People. See 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Note:
1. Acts 10:35.
2. 1John 2:29.
3. This type of righteous one will stand because Christ is their righteousness.
E.What The Righteous Can/Answering The Question Raised:
1. The righteous can stand. See Proverbs 24:16
2. And for the righteous to stand, and stand well without shaking, he must pray well for their tampered foundation to receive healing.
F. Prayer Points:
1. Holy Ghost fire, go to the foundation of my life, and filter my life.
2. My Father, my Father! I give You express permission, settled me by Fire.
3. Almighty God, released Your fire unto me now.
4. Oh Lord God, go into my foundation by your fire and healed me now.
