SCRIPTURE READING:- PSALM 74:1-11
TOPIC:– I SAY YES TO THE HOLY GHOST [4]
TEXT:- ACTS 10:38
The Church would degenerate into an ordinary worldly meeting place if the fire of God is absent. When the fire is absent from a Church the flesh, the world and Satan triumph; but when the fire of God falls, the story changes as God is glorified. The genuine fire must not go out; it must keep on burning to keep God in charge, and not man and Satan, Psalm 74:4,7-11.
God shall convert every area of your life that lacks spiritual fire into firebrand; whatever counterfeit spirit is hiding in these areas and operating against you shall be driven out and consumed by fire. You shall literally carry the fire of God upon your life and men shall see and know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made as God’s battle axe and weapon of war, Jeremiah 51:20.
The Church was not born on the day of Crucifixion but on the day of Pentecost. The sign of Pentecost is Fire, not a dove, a lamb or a Cross. Every believer therefore must carry the fire of God as a seal of God’s promise, approval and protection. Isaiah 66:16
Fire does not excite but it decides a case, no matter how complex the case may be. Fire does not respect but it reduces anything it comes in contact with to ashes. Fire does not discriminate but it devours challengers and obstacles on its way. Fire does not attract but cooks food and satisfies. Fire does not argue but it brings peace and settles a controversy. No obstacle can stand the dread of the devouring fire.
There is fake fire and there is genuine fire. The fake fire is refetted to as strange fire; which is more or less devilish, Leveticus 10:1-2. The genuine fire is the one that originates from the source of fire itself, whose name is Consuming Fire, Hebrew 12:29.
Firebrand and violent believers have firebrand and violent angels assigned to them from heaven. Set your life on the fire of God and drive out all satanic animals, grazing and hiding in the garden of your life. Miracles only happen in deep waters, so launch out into the deep.
Fire does not discriminate. It is an agent of purification. It purifies dross from metals and makes them useful to the welder. Fire is attractive but dangerous. It is innocent but uncompromising, offensive and radical. It does not change state, et it changes anything it gets in contact with. For instance, it cooks food that we eat. No matter where you take fire to it remains fire. Above all, fire is dependable. You can always count on fire whenever it is needed. Do you want to settle any case permanently, try fire? No matter how stubborn a case may prove, try fire and it will settle finally.
No demon or evil arrow can survive the test and trial by fire. No satanic plantation or poison can ressit the divine fire of God. Get rid of them and ask God to pull you up by fire.
Expose your stubborn situation to the genuine fire that comes from studying the word, aggressive praying, fasting, the anointing and holding constant fellowship with brethren. It is time to declare to very mountain of confrontation that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. This is the time of FIRE OF HOLY SPIRIT.
Prayer Points:-
1. Anything in me that is quenching the fire of God in my life, die, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Anything in me that God has not planted, I challenge you by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. O Lord, make a pillar of fire around me and make me a threat to my tormentors, in the name of Jesus Christ.
