Topic:- How Can A Man Who Is On Fire Just Fall Into Sin?
Text:- 1 Kings 19:3
Hmmm, falling into sin is not an event, it is a process. When you are on fire for God, Satan is afraid of you, but guess what? You are his target, you are on his watch list.
Those times when you are hot and on fire, he watches from afar, Satan is never in an hurry, he can wait for 30years to accomplish his aim.
You are never on Satan’s watch list if you are not a problem to the kingdom of darkness, but if you are branded for Christ, you will be noted in hell and declared wanted. When things are blazing, Satan is not moved but see His strategy.
SATAN SPONSORS PRAYERLESSNESS INTO YOUR LIFE, TO PUNCTURE AND INJURE YOUR SPIRITUALITY AND PRODUCE ADVANCEMENT IN CARNALITY.
What devil is waiting for is a reduction in your prayer life, he will now help you fan it into flame with activities, excuses, sleep, being busy, bitterness at God, and so on, until your prayer life dies. The death of your prayer life is a call for celebration in the Kingdom of darkness.
When your prayer life dies, there will be advancement in carnality, Satan will not kill or attack you, he will now invade your heart with wrong, bad, carnal desires that lead to lust, then you move into the sin, then you continue the sin until you are spiritually dead.
Devil is not as interested in killing you as much as killing your spiritual life. When the Bible says the thief comes but to kill, steal and destroy, it is not just physical but he comes to steal your walk with God, Kill your spirituality, and destroy your testimony.
You will be amazed, a fire brand sister will just land in pornography and masturbation that she did last 6 years ago or a Pastor fall into fornication with a choir member and you will wonder, how did this happen? It is not an event but a process.
THE REDUCTION IN YOUR PRAYER LIFE IS AN INCREASE AND ADVANCEMENT INTO CARNALITY.
Do you have this challenge? Have you seen traces of flesh and sin laden in your heart? Go for a retreat fast. Go and pray until that desire dies.
Explanation is not equal to Elimination. A sinning Christian doesn’t pray. A praying Christian doesn’t sin
When I talk about prayers, I don’t talk about father give me money, husband, wife oh. I mean kingdom based prayer, praying scriptures, praying to know God, praying in the spirit.
Prayer Points:-
1. I refuse to fall into sin, help me oh Lord God to be watchful and be prayerful henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I declared, sin shall have no dominion over me again, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh Lord God, help me to be on fire for You henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
