Scripture:- Genesis 32:1-32
Topic:- How Apostle Obadare Was Raised Blind [2]
Text:- Genesis 32:28

4. Apostle Obadare Pastoral Career:
In 1953, Obadare started his career as an Evangelist in the Nigerian Apostolic Church.
Without a doubt, his father, who was a Pastor with the Church, influenced the choice of the denomination. Brother Paul and Dr Thomas Whayad, Ministers of the Church, organized a revival which lasted until mid-April 1953.
Obadare questioned the end of the resurrection, who thought that God needed more vessels to bear His message.
Therefore, first and foremost, Obadare made himself accessible to God and, despite his physical handicap, asked God to make use of him.
He realized, however, that every man of God needed the Holy Spirit as the most important tool of spiritual achievement; and so that is what he chose to pray most doggedly.
He compelled his mother to lock him up in a room where he embarked on an extended fasting and prayer session to pursue the strength of God, as the two Evangelists of the Church had demonstrated. The Lord appeared to Him on the fifth day of this prayer session.
5. The Seventh Day:
On the seventh day, coming out of the room, he went straight to the Church where he was preaching at 10 a.m. for a period of four hours.
By 2:00 p.m. This led to the first of the remarkable events of Obadare’s reign: through his intervention, God miraculously healed nearly 350 people suffering from a cough epidemic that had exploded in Ilesa at the time.
6. Pastor Revealed Obadare’s Miracle:
Pastor Paul, speaking more about his father’s supernatural adventures when he was alive, remembers an event that remained fresh in his memory.
“One day, a man came to Akure , Ondo State, where he wanted to see. People told him that there were a lot of people waiting to see the man of God, so he had to wait. He persisted, so he did not listen to the advice. My father listened to him, and asked him what was going on. When a man insisted on seeing him, he ordered them to let him come to him.
“Once the man saw him, he said he knew that God was using him mightily, even though he could not see. He asked him he wanted him to tell him what kind of clothes he was wearing and what color he was wearing.
“Baba said he was going to force him to make his question after he had talked, so he might realize that his God is Koseunti (King of possibility).”
7. Despite His Blindness:
He revealed What Was A Secret, “And beyond his explanation, he explained precisely what he was wearing. The man was clearly astounded.
He also assured the man that it did not mean he could accept the reality that he had two eyes. He said that the man’s eyes would simply see only natural things, but the inner eyes, as divinely created, could see both inner and outer things. The story remains with me to this day.”

Prayer Point: Oh Lord God, break me, remold me and uses me for Your divine purpose for my life henceforth by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Have A Wonderful Tuesday!

ALTAR CALL

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Thank God for your soul. I congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT page or visit TACN or any bible believing church near you and ask for the pastor in charge.
