40 DAYS VIGIL WITH PRAYER AND FASTING FROM 29TH APRIL OVER 7TH JUNE, 2020 TITLE “MY GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE” HEBREWS 12:29.
Day 20: Monday 18th May, 2020.
Scripture:- Genesis 18
Topic:- God The Consuming Fire Versus Sodom And Gomorrah
Text:- Genesis 18:20
The meaning of Sodom is called burning. While that of Gomorrah means accumulation.
Think of it, if the meaning of those cities are called burning and accumulation, then the place is not worth living because at the later day, whatever you accumulated there will still go for burning i.e. destroyed.
The story of Lot and how he got into Sodom and Gomorrah is a household story. Everything a man accumulated in life is nothing without Christ, the end of it is destruction and burning.
The people of Sodom and Gomorrah were warned against the impending doom but they turned deaf hears.
The same warning is still out to believers and non-believers alike at this time. Why will you want to labour and at the end everything you worked and laboured for in life outside of Christ eventually gets destroyed.
Therefore, you will believe with me that the Sodom and Gomorrah act must be fired and consume.
Prayer Points:-
1. I command, as you lean on Him, may He order and direct your paths always, no more confusion for you anymore, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I silence every spirit of Sodom and Gomorrah in my life, catch fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. I command every Sodom and Gomorrah attitude operating in my life, what are you waiting for, expire now by God’s consuming fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Holy Ghost fire, God’s consuming fire, go in any length and consume, and deliver me totally now, in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. I’m no more a curse but blessings henceforth by God’s consuming fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
6. Oh Lord God, I am in the world but not of the world, give me grace to maintain my integrity as a Christian till eternity, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Have A Lovely Monday!
