God The Consuming Fire Versus Mara

40 DAYS VIGIL WITH PRAYER AND FASTING FROM 29TH APRIL OVER 7TH JUNE, 2020 TITLE “MY GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE” HEBREWS 12:29.

Day 25: Saturday 23rd May, 2020.

Scripture:- Ruth 1

Topic:- God The Consuming Fire Versus Mara

Text:- Ruth 1:20

The meaning of Mara in Hebrew dictionary is “sad or sadness”. It is also called “Marah or maw-raw” in Hebrew language, which means bitter; bitterness; angry; bitterly; chafed; discontented; great; heavy.
Mara is so destructive that if it is in the life of its victim, will turn what is sweetened to sorrow and bitterness.
As it entered the household of Elimelech that were full and blessed initially but turned things around, and killed the head of the family who went for greener pasture, killed the only two sons, and the wife who was left empty-handed, now confessed with her mouth that she is no longer Naomi, (which means pleasant), but that she is now Mara, (bitterness). What a loss! See Ruth 1:19-21.
It pays to build a name, the reward doesn’t come quickly but it will come however long it may take and it lasts longer.
Integrity, discipline, self control and fear of God makes a man wealthy, not the fat bank account. Your life may be Mara now, but never allowed this Mara used your life for destruction.

Prayer Points:-
1. I pray that the Lord God will protect you from all evils, and also made you rapturable, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I command, all the roots of bitterness in my life, whither to the root by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. I renounce all the evil or bad name that circumstance has given me, in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. O Lord God, turn my bitterness (Mara) to sweetness (Joy) in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. I’m no more a Mara but light and salt to every one I may be incontact with henceforth by God’s consuming fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
6. No more Mara but sweetened to the world, in the name of Jesus Christ.
7. Oh Lord God, make me a solution to the world henceforth by God’s consuming fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Have A Blessed Saturday!

ALTAR CALL

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Thank God for your soul. I congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT page or visit TACN or any bible believing church near you and ask for the pastor in charge.
