Scripture:- Genesis 37
Topic:- Fulfilment Of Joseph Brethren Bowing For Him
Text:- Genesis 37
A. Joseph saw the revelation And Related Them:
1. “For behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and lo, my sheaf rose up and also stood erect; and behold, your sheaves gathered around and bowed down to my sheaf.” See Genesis 37:7.
2. In another revelation, he said, “Now he had still another dream, and related it to his brothers, and said, “Lo, I have had still another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” See Genesis 37:9.
3. He related it to his father and to his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have had? Shall I and your mother and your brothers actually come to bow ourselves down before you to the ground?” See Genesis 37:10.
B. The Fulfilment:
1. He had him ride in his second chariot; and they proclaimed before him, “Bow the knee!” And he set him over all the land of Egypt. See Genesis 41:43.
2. Now Joseph was the ruler over the land; he was the one who sold to all the people of the land And Joseph’s brothers came and bowed down to him with their faces to the ground. See Genesis 42:6.
3. When Joseph came home, they brought into the house to him the present which was in their hand and bowed to the ground before him. See Genesis 43:26.
4. They said, “Your servant our father is well; he is still alive.” They bowed down in homage. See Genesis 43:28.
5. When Judah and his brothers came to Joseph’s house, he was still there, and they fell to the ground before him. See Genesis 44:14.
6. Then his brothers also came and fell down before him and said, “Behold, we are your servants.” See Genesis 50:18.
C. As He promised Joseph and fulfilled his destiny, He is ready to do the same and even more for you as you wait upon Him.
Prayer Point:- Oh Lord God, help me to wait upon every time so that Your promises will come to pass in my life henceforth by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
