Elijah Prayed Back The Rain

Saturday 18th May 2019 Prayer Devotion

Scripture Reading:- 1 Kings 18:42-45

Topic:- Elijah Prayed Back The Rain

Text:- 1 Kings 18:45

As Ahab sat with Elijah at the sacrificial meal, Elijah prayed for rain. Many times Elijah found himself in the midst of a seemingly dimming situation.
When promised rain remained absent, Elijah held unto his belief, sending his servant to check the horizon seven times. Just as God promised, it rained.
He said to his servant, “Go up now, and look toward the sea.” He went up, and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” He said, “Go again” seven times.
After three and one-half years of drought, Jehovah sent rain. God’s promises remain true for us today. As He answered Elijah, He will answer you as you remain in Him and hold unto your faith in Him.

Prayer Points:-
1. Oh Lord God, rain Your rain of blessings and miracle upon me henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Oh Lord God, give me power to pray and to pray through, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh Lord God, help me not to be dwindling in my faith in You, in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Fire of the Holy Ghost, fall mightily upon me henceforth, so as I pray, unction and action to follows, in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. Oh Lord God, make me a prayer warrior like Elijah henceforth, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Have A Blessed Saturday!

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Thank God for your soul. I congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT page or visit TACN or any bible believing church near you and ask for the pastor in charge.
