Topic:- David A Man After God’s Heart
Text:- Acts 13:23
The story of David illustrated to us that God can show personal interest and love for those who love, fear and obey Him.
God loved David more than any other king in Israel. He made a special covenant with David and gave him victory over all his enemies around. Why? David’s character made him to become a man after God’s heart. He was also obedient to God. Always humble. Though he was not perfect, but he put his trust in God and that was why he always defeat his enemies.
He was always ready to repent and forsake his sins. He feared God that was why he decided not to kill Saul, the anointed one of God. He knew how to enter the presence of God both in thanksgiving, praise, worship and songs.
You too can become a man or woman after God’s heart if you live a God-fearing life.
Prayer Points:-
1. Oh God, I am determined to be a man after Your heart God, please help me, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Anything in my life that is making me less for God’s purpose, die completely now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh God, help me to be like You and to resemble You completely, in the name of Jesus Christ.
