THURSDAY 2ND AUGUST 2018 MORNING PRAYER DEVOTION

SCRIPTURE READING:- PHILIPPIANS 3:1-21

TOPIC:- CHRIST RESURRECTION POWER

TEXT:- PHILIPPIANS 3:10

Apostle Paul was praying in today’s passage, in verse ten of Philippians chapter three, that he wanted to know the Lord Jesus Christ the more, and more so, to know the power of His resurrection i.e. that power that came on Him inside the grave where He was laid, and came out alive after the third day.
What is this resurrection power that Paul was praying that he wanted to know? It is the power that will come upon every deadness of your situation, your life and everything pertaining to you, and thereafter give you new hope of joy and dancing.

Maybe you are one of those that thought that, “it is over”. And that every situation is turning round against you. You have even concluded that there is no more solution for your situation. Wait a little bit, there is good news for you because the resurrection power is available for you. Think about this! If it can work for an almost forgotten widow, to the extent of losing her only hope, her only son, to death. What situation can be worse than that? But alas! The miraculous touch of the hand of love and resurrection power of the Lord Jesus Christ, awoke her lost hope and changed her story by fire, for her joy to be full. Yours too is very possible to be changed by fire! See Luke 7:11-17.
This Jesus resurrection power is available since about two thousand years ago, till eternity. No wonder, Paul prayed for this same available resurrection power, for him to know, and also to know that power more than before.
Pray for it too, and your life and everything pertaining to you will never be the same again, and you will also testify to the glory of God!

Prayers Point:
1. I command you power that is limiting the glory of God in my life, I challenge you with the resurrection power, sccater right now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. I command every deadness from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet, receive resurrection power now by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Oh Lord my God! My father!! My father!!! I want to know you, and your resurrection power more and more than before, in the name of Jesus.
