TEXT:- ACTS 23:12

Assassinator is clearly the modern juridical between assassination and murder. While murderer in Hebrew is “rotseach” Numbers 35:16-31.

Horegh from haragh means to slay or kill. Irrespective of whether willful, deliberate killing is spoken of, or hasty or merely accidental. Nakhah means to strike, wound, kill, slay, Numbers 35:24.
The prohibition against killing is all-inclusive, even to suicide, placing the ban not only on deliberate, purposeful slaying, Exodus 21:12,14,18.

The reason assigned being that man is made in the image of God; hence to slay a man is paramount to lifting the hand against the Creator. And while the degrees of guilt are not indicated by the language, they are closely distinguished by the punishments prescribed.

The English word assassin is derived from the Arabic word hashishi, meaning “hashish eater” they often used hashish before they committed their acts of terrorism. While the ancient meaning is still at least partly accurate today. The modern-day usage of the term is generally used for anyone who murders a political or religious leader by surprise assault.

During Bible History, the Kings of Israel and Judah, and others, were justifiably concerned with the possibility of assassination.
a. King Joash of Judah was assassinated by his own servants, 2 Kings 12:19-21.
b. Joab assassinated Abner, 2 Samuel 3:26-28.
c. After failing to conquer Jerusalem, King Sennacherib of Assyria was assassinated by his own sons, 2 Chronicles 32:21.

Prayer Points:-
1. I command you assassinator, assassinate yourself, in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Every evil conspiracy to assassinate me, scatter, in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. I shall not die but live to propagate the gospel, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Have A Wonderful Tuesday!

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Thank God for your soul. I congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT page or visit TACN or any bible believing church near you and ask for the pastor in charge.
